Parker Creek (20:00)

Little Parker Creek flows out of Parker Canyon Reservoir in southern Arizona, just north of the US-Mexico border. It’s a quiet little creek, flowing through a beautiful canyon lined with cottonwood and sycamore trees.

Recorded along Parker Creek, Arizona, on January 28, 2014.

Bull Creek (20:00)

A small mountain range hides among the dramatic canyon country of southern Utah. High in the Henry Mountains, Bull Creek flows near the Lonesome Beaver campground. In July 2014, the creek was swollen with water from recent rains.

Recorded in the Henry Mountains, Utah, on July 11, 2014.

Garden Creek (20:00)

Flowing out of the Huachuca Mountains in southeastern Arizona, Garden Creek is one of the most reliable sources of water in the area. Thousands of years ago, Native Americans farmed near its banks, as did some of the first European settlers to the area. It remains a vital source of water for wildlife. It also is a lovely sounding creek, as it flows over rocks of limestone and granite.

Recorded along Garden Creek, Arizona, on November 8, 2013.

Carson River (20:00)

Flowing from the eastern Sierra Nevada into the Great Basin, the Carson River makes a magical journey. Near Carson City, Nevada, it slows down a bit as it flows through tall cottonwoods and willows.

Recorded along the Carson River, Nevada, on January 5, 2014.
